It isn’t often that I am at a loss for words. Talk to anyone who knows me personally and you will find that to be true. LOL However, sometimes there just are no words. Sometimes you just do not feel inspired. Period. I’ve been busy going to a few wrap up doctor appointments this week in preparation for returning to work after a long illness. It has been a long road and I am tired. I have no words of wisdom to share at the moment and that even makes me step back and tilt my head a little.
And that is when it hit me. So what? I do not always need to be sharing some “big moment,” or some uplifting words of wisdom. The last thing I need is to be heard. Sometimes I just need to be quiet and know that it is Okay. Sometimes I just need to listen to what God is telling ME. I think we all need to take that time some days. Just stop everything we are doing and LISTEN to what God is telling us.
“Listen” to the words of the song in the video below and open your heart to what God has to tell you and as always Be Blessed. It’s Okay!
If you enjoy reading about things that inspire you, things that make you giggle, enjoy uplifting music videos, love your pet and beautiful scenery then you have come to the right place.
I have recently been diagnosed with a chronic illness and am trying to take one day at a time fitting that into my already crazy life. Come along on my journey as I relay what I have learned along the way. Some of it can be funny and some not so much. Grab a cup of coffee and get your readers on as we travel this road together.
Be sure to press that "Like" button if you see something you enjoyed. I'd also love your feedback so feel free to leave me a comment. If you're having a good time and would like to join me again be sure to "Follow" me as well. I'd love to have you!!!
I am a dedicated husband and father, diagnosed with Sarcoidosis and doing whatever it takes to get through each day with as much dignity as possible. I do not know what tomorrow brings but I do know who brings tomorrow. Strong faith and a love for Christ and my family is what gets me through each day with a smile on my face. One day, one hour, one minute at a time.....................
Hey Dan, I always enjoy your words, It reminds me that I was too busy with other things while you were growing up to appreciate your talent. your words bless me. love you Dad
Thank you so much for the kind words, Zen! I am so glad to have met you even if only through cyber space! LOL I’ve come to look forward to our exchanges! God Bless!
You’re right…we don’t always need to have something profound to say…that’s putting WAY too much pressure on ourselves. It is good to be quiet sometimes and as you say “listen”. Whenever I do this, I am amazed at what I hear. I, of course, forget to regularly do this and have to be humbled into it in some way so I guess I am a slow learner.
LOL. I know. My wife would laugh at this post as would my children as they do not know me to never have something to say. In fact, we were getting ready to go to a live production of “The Lion King” tonight and I was singing in the shower the words to this song on this post and I hear “noise” going on in the other room. I yelled out to see what the commotion was and they were all having a big laugh and asking “When did I ever have a loss for words? Of course I told them all to shut up and then had to laugh myself. What’s true is true! hehe. I do listen though, no matter what they say!!! 😉
Sometimes we have many words, to talk and share some necessary insights with others. And sometimes we are out of words, we just need to be still, in order to let some divine message reach to us! )
This is very true. I try to focus on the fact that the words I use can be very powerful and I want to be sure they are inspired by God. When I have no words I know it is because God is telling me to be still and LISTEN to Him and hear what He has to say to ME.
Dan I have been so worried, wondering where you were, then my aging brain finally kicked in today, and I realized you were likely over here. Wow…….you left a gaping hole on Inspire. I sure do miss you there.
Hope you have a great Thanksgiving tomorrow, and may God’s blessings give you great joy as you return to work.
Hugs and prayers to you.
I’m so glad you came over for another visit! I have not spent much time on Inspire lately that is true. I guess I’ve been keeping a lower profile after all the “drama.” LOL
Thank you for your kind words. I will make it a point to post a little more often. I sure do miss you and some of my other friends!
May God richly bless you as well my sweet friend on this Holiday of Thanksgiving!
